THE PROJECT IN 3 STATEMENTS
In schools, hospitals, and universities, purchasing carrots from a local farmer are better than carrots shipped across oceans. Better on nutrition, better on sustainability, better for the local economy. I think most of us would agree.
But there is a gap between intention and action. Turning that value preference into operational reality means navigating institutional procurement processes, legal structures, and vendor contracts that most buyers were never trained to handle.
Procure with Purpose closes that gap. It’s a free legal toolkit of actionable templates, worksheets, and guidance built for the operators and staff heads down on procurement.

DESIGN AS A TRANSLATOR
The Turner Environmental Law Clinic handed us 500 pages of legal content: statutes, model policies, procurement clauses, case studies, contract language. Dense, rigorous, and unusable for the people this toolkit was built for.
No operator in a school kitchen or hospital procurement office has 500 pages of reading time. So...
How do you turn 500 pages of legal content into something a procurement officer can integrate into their workflow, while holding onto legal rigor and operator clarity?
